Sara Pascale specializes in exercise and nutrition for life. With a degree in kinesiology, 16 years of experience, and a very diverse list of certifications, she loves helping her clients find a way of exercising and eating that they can truly enjoy and be successful at. She advocates functional training, and never promotes fitness goals that compromise health or joy. She believes in a slow and steady “one size does NOT fit all” approach so that goals can not only be accomplished, but sustained for life.
Sara personally enjoys CrossFit, Zumba, yoga, running, hiking, and just about any workout she can do with a friend or team. She loves tacos and brownies, fresh fruits and roasted veggies, blue cheese, dark chocolate, peanut butter, and a quality ribeye. She played basketball in college and loves playing volleyball on the beach. She loves trying new things, learning new skills, traveling to new places, and tackling big goals. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, and has a special passion for prenatal and postnatal women.
Sara is genuine, tough, and one of the best listeners I know. She knows when and how to push and challenge your inner voice that may be holding you back. Working with her changed how I take care of my body and approach fitness, and I’ve continued that lifestyle for over a decade now.
I thought that being healthy meant giving up things I value, like the flavors of food and the social time with people I love. So learning that this process not only honors my preferences but encourages them really motivated me.I realized that many of my past eating habits weren’t fitting my values either. Now I enjoy and love food more than ever.
I just love her.
One of the things I love about Eating Fulljoy is that I can eat whatever I want! The key is finding out what you actually want (which is fun!), learning how to listen to your body when it tells you that the want has been satisfied, and having the will to actually listen and carry out what your body just told you. Once I started practicing this, I felt SO much better every day!
Before I was eating bland foods that I thought were healthy, just for sustenance. Like plain deli turkey with yellow mustard and a fork and knife. Like steamed broccoli. For some reason I felt like oil and seasonings were off limits. I also thought I’d have to restrict bread to be healthy, which is my favorite thing ever!
I would also binge on sweets when they were around, even if I didn’t like them (like cupcakes, I hate cupcakes!)
Ok, so I still give in to splurging now and again, but now that I’m attuned to how it makes my body feel, I always go back to Eating Fulljoy!
